At Happy Day, everything begins with people.
From the moment this company was born, it’s been powered by the hearts, hands, and hard work of the people who bring it to life every day. They show up behind the counter, on the line, in the office, and at the table. Around those people is a community that has grown with us, shaped us, and supported us all along the way.
The Valley is our home. It has been for 57 years. And everything we do is rooted in that love for this place and the people in it.
That’s why we’re launching The Happy Hour! A newsletter dedicated to telling the real stories behind Happy Day.
Not just menus and updates, but the humans behind it all.
The butcher who cares about where the beef is raised.
The server who remembers your order (and your kid’s soccer schedule).
The maintenance team who always knows the smartest fix.
The guests who fill the tables and bring life to the restaurants.
These moments matter. They deserve to be seen.
The Happy Hour Newsletter is our way of lifting up our teams, opening a window into our community, and staying connected to what this company stands for at its core. Not to boast. Not to market. But to remind us, and you, why we do what we do.
So here it is: the first issue. We’re excited, a little nervous, and mostly just proud to start something that feels real and rooted. If you’re reading this, you’re part of it. Whether you’ve worked here ten years or walked in yesterday. Whether you’re prepping food or just enjoying it.
