Full breakfast buffet, and yes, it is available to our community who are non-veterans, or are accompanying a veteran, for $15.95.

1/3 pound burger with bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions. Served with a side of fries.
Main Street Grill
BBQ short ribs chopped and topped with coleslaw and fresh onion straws. Served with fries.

About the program
Since 2011, Happy Day Restaurants has hosted a free monthly lunch for veterans of the LC Valley — no strings attached. Just show your punch card, sit down, and enjoy a meal on us.
Non-veterans are always welcome to join a veteran for an additional cost, because honoring our veterans is a community celebration.

How it all started
“It started simply — Bruce Finch and his friend Ken King wanted to do something meaningful for Veterans Day. They sat down together, invited a few veterans, and shared a meal. It felt so right they decided to do it again the next month. And the month after that.
What began as a quiet act of gratitude between two friends grew into one of the LC Valley’s most cherished monthly traditions. Over a decade later, hundreds of veterans have gathered at Happy Day tables to share stories, reconnect, and be honored by the community they protected.
